winemaker
Michael Kyberd has been making wine on the Mornington Peninsula for over 20 years. He is passionate about Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and believes the Mornington Peninsula is one of the great places in the world to make these varieties.
Michael is a highly respected winemaker, lending his hand to several top labels and large producers in the region. He also travelled to the Calatayud region of Spain annually to make Bodegas Ateca’s award winning Garnacha. So he has crafted wines from some very old vineyards to the relatively young in this region.
He became the winemaker for Tucks Ridge, he developed a range of single vineyard wines which were critically acclaimed, including the highest rated Pinot Noir in James Halliday’s Wine companion for three years straight.
Michael has been making our wine since 2013.
